Took a trip to Kobe's Ijinkan, and it was so quiet here without all the tourists. (Kobe, Hyogo 2021)
Ijinkan is an area in Kobe with lots of western architecture. It's sort of an area where most local Japanese go if they want to get a taste of being in a "foreign place" is like.
This area is very close to the Herb Garden, Nunobiki Falls and Shin-Kobe Shinkansen station, so I recommend taking a stroll if you're in the area. You might learn a thing or two about how Japanese think foreigner/westerner are like, even if architecture isn't much of your thing. I mostly enjoy this area because it's very picturesque.
These houses make for good photos afterall!
